The Vessel (Embracing Inner Beauty)
THE VESSEL (Embracing Inner Beauty)
The poem is about the conversation between our soul and our body. The soul borrows our body and promises it to give love and nurture it throughout our lifetime. But as we grow up we tend to compare ourself with others, we feel insecure about our height, skin complexion, scars and acnes, and everything that dwell around us. We tend to crave for other's approval to see ourselves as worthy/beautiful, we feel intimidated by others and their perfect appearances and lavish lifestyle. But the poem reminds us that the real beauty is within ourself if we look within, we don't need world's approval to feel validated, if we love ourself enough and see our strength we will come to know that we are perfect and we don't have to compare ourself with others but rather focus on our own individuality and growth as a loving and caring human being.
